For all fans of LEGO and the “Back to the Future” film saga, the toy company announced the new launch of its set inspired by the successful film, which will be available to the public from 1 April.

The LEGO Group and Universal Brand Development have revealed a new three-in-one reproduction of one of the most iconic movie vehicles of all time: the LEGO® Time Machine from Back to the Future. .

The LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine set allows fans to build the car from the first, second or third movies. Plus, it comes with LEGO minifigure versions of Doc Brown and Marty McFly.

“Universal, Amblin Entertainment and the filmmakers of Back to the Future are delighted to have partnered with the LEGO team in creating of this fantastic kit,” said Bob Gale, co-writer and co-producer of the trilogy. “In the movie, Doc Brown spent almost 30 years and his entire family fortune to build the Time Machine of he. Fortunately, you will be able to build this LEGO model in much less time and with much less expense.”

Car details replicate wheels that fold for flight mode, iconic light flux capacitor, printed dates on the dash, opening doors and hood, and many more Easter eggs, including Marty’s hoverboard and interchangeable license plates.

The set even comes with a banana and a can, to power the Mr. Fusion device as seen on the vehicle at the end of the first film.

Sven Franic, LEGO Set Designer, commented: “Since its release in 1985, Back to the Future remains a cult movie and a favorite of generations of fans around the world, myself included. The shared timelessness of LEGO bricks and the Back to the Future franchise is something we really wanted to capture for this set, so we hope fans will enjoy racing through time LEGO style.”

The new LEGO Back to the Future Time Machine set will be available at the retail price of $169.99 in LEGO stores and on Lego.com/bttf to from April 2022.
