This Thursday, in the middle of his daily address, the President of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, announced that he will meet with the US Special Envoy for Climate, John Kerry, along with some businessmen to reiterate his position regarding the “model” of the electricity sector.

AMLO explained that in said meeting he will offer investment possibilities.

“We want to maintain good relations with the Government of United States, friendly relations. And also seek economic integration with respect to our sovereignties”, said López Obrador from the National Palace.

This Wednesday it was learned that John Kerry would travel to Mexico for the third time to meet with the Mexican president in Mexico City and continue bilateral talks between the two nations.

“Fortunately John Kerry and the (US) ambassador, Ken Salazar, have helped a lot, and also businessmen who are willing to reach agreements. To regularize their situation”, Obrador pointed out.

The Fourth Transformation will be peaceful and radical, just as profound as the Reform and the Revolution. Morning conference https://t.co/C2gqnPTWLh
