Andreas Erazo, a Hispanic man serving a life sentence in New Jersey for the rape and murder of his neighbor, the girl Abbiegail Smith, of 11 years, he can withdraw his guilty plea because an appeal panel determined that the police violated his “Miranda rights”.

Erazo ( 23) pleaded guilty in 2019, two years after killing and sexually assaulting the Smith girl in her Keansburg (NJ) apartment. He received a sentence of 75 years for the homicide and 29 more for the violation.
