history-of-argentina:-manu-ginobili-will-be-inducted-into-the-basketball-hall-of-fame

All of Argentina is partying: Manu Ginóbili will be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in his class 2004, in the first year of eligibility. The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall Of Fame awaits the first Argentine in its history.

The fact is not yet official, but almost. It was reported by Shams Charania, one of the most reliable basketball sources that can be found on the networks. Basically it’s like it is.

Ginóbili will be the fourth Latin American to be inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame, after Brazilians Oscar Schmidt, Ubiratan Pereira and Hortencia Marcari.

Manu stood out for being a team player, with elite technical resources and an ability to perform under pressure that is difficult to achieve. And if we must sum it up in one word: winner.

His record speaks for itself: four NBA rings, an Italian league, a Euroleague, two gold medals with Argentina in the Americas Championship, an Olympic gold in Athens 2004 and many more collective and individual successes that we could mention for several lines.

Three years ago, his jersey was withdrawn by the San Antonio Spurs, the team of his entire career in the NBA. His legacy in basketball in America and in general is unquestionable. Manu will be immortal.
