The Costa Rican National Team finished the Concacaf Octagonal in fourth place in the table, which gives it the right to play the playoff against New Zealand in June. They ended with a four win streak and Keylor Navas was key to consummate that positive closing.
The Ticos finished with 13 points tied with USA, only goal difference affected them because USA left +11 and they +5. Navas, one of their new captains, will have the opportunity to fight in this unique match to attend his third World Cup.
We must continue to work hard and strive. We cannot lower our guard, we did something very difficult and we are looking forward to going to the World Cup
