A dangerous Russian sniper, with 40 deaths to her name, she was captured by Ukrainian troops after being abandoned on the battlefield.

The Sun reported that Irina Starikova, whose call sign is “Bagira”, told her captors that “Russian troops left her to die” after she was wounded in a battle against the Ukrainians.
