Two fans burst onto the pitch of the Deutsche Bank Park stadium in Frankfurt and tied themselves to one of the goalposts, so the clash between Eintracht and Freiburg in the Bundesliga was interrupted for a few minutes.
As happened weeks ago in the Premier, when in some matches spectators tied their necks to a post with a plastic tape in protest at the environmental policy of the British government, two attendees at the Eintracht stadium appeared on the grass and went to the goal occupied by Kevin Trapp.
The activists, dressed in a white T-shirt with the message in German “Next generation: stop the fossil madness“, they were each tied to a pole until the stadium security officers cut the zip ties and took them away.
The match was interrupted for a few minutes. The people who tied themselves to the poles did not suffer or do any kind of physical harm.
Afterwards, the match resumed without problems. Freiburg won by a score of 1-2.
