paul-mccartney's-childhood-home-will-open-its-doors-to-new-musicians

It is Liverpool, England, a reference for all musicians and music fans. This city, in the northwest of the country, saw the formation of the greatest band of all time: The Beatles.

It has recently been said that the childhood home of Paul McCartney, who was a bassist and composer in the band, it will become a space for other musicians who are starting their career.

This whole project stems from the interest of The National Trust (National Foundation for Places of Historic Interest), a charity that has set out to refurbish the house into a rehearsal room and recording studio.

The idea is to offer new artists the possibility of being inspired by the same house where The Beatles did it, so one of the main requirements to be able to access is to be a group, or soloist, independent and new.

The project is called The Forthlin Sessions and it is presumed that it will officially open its doors in June of this year, the month in which McCartney will fulfill 80 year old.

During these days they have invited the media and influencers to visit the house called 20 Forthlin Road, during these visits they have had the chance to speak with him Paul’s brother, Mike, who tells a little about the history of the family in the house.

The photographer Mike McCartney, known as Mike McGear, says that after the death of his mother, he and his brothers had the opportunity to be inspired and release pain within this residence .

It was thanks to that freedom that was given to them at home that Paul and Mike came to music and photography, taking their first steps there.
