FC Barcelona got back on the road to victory, after beating Real Sociedad one-nil and thanks to a goal from Pierre Emerick Aubameyang. However, the three points were marred by injuries to Ronald Araujo and Dani Alves; two vital defenders in Xavi Hernández’s scheme.
Regarding the Brazilian, he had the opportunity to send a message to Real Madrid with an ironic and very poisoned tone. The right-back hinted that the merengue team was lucky that the reinforcements and the best moment of the club had arrived late to fight for the League title.
“They have had lucky we are late. It couldn’t be and now it’s time to think about the next goal. We would have liked to compete with them in a different way but life is like that”, commented Dani Alves.
