Russia included in its “black list” 29 American citizens, including the vice president of the United States, Kamala Harris, and the executive director of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, who is considered an “extremist” in that country.
In said blacklist, they are also including senior Pentagon officials such as Deputy Defense Secretary Kathleen Hicks and spokesperson John Kirby; the White House Chief of Staff, Ron Klain, as well as Evan Ryan, wife of the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, and Douglas Emhoff, husband of Vice President Harris.
Also included in the list are the CEO of LinkedIn, Ryan Roslansky, and experts such as Edward Acevedo, from the Wilson Center, and journalists from CNN, ABC, and the Russian portal Meduza.
In addition, businessmen and other spouses of high-ranking US officials are added, as announced on Thursday by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia.
“In response to the ever-expanding US sanctions to which the Joe administration Biden submits to more and more Russians (officials, their relatives, as well as businessmen, scientists and artists), a total of 29 Americans, including senior officials, businessmen, experts and reporters who make up the Russophobic agenda, as well as the spouses of several high-ranking officials, are blacklisted,” the Ministry said in its statement.
“Another announcement about a new expansion of the Russian blacklist will soon follow, as part of the countermeasures to the hostile actions of the United States. United”, said the Ministry.
Leaders of the G20, including Putin invited to Indonesian summit
The announcement of the blacklist for 29 American citizens is when the leaders of all the G20 countries were invited to the next summit in Indonesia, including Russian President Vladimir Putin, Indonesian Finance Minister Sri Mulyani Indrawati said.
When asked if Putin will be present at the G20 summit scheduled to take place on the resort island of Bali in Indonesia, the minister replied: “Well, guest”. He added that invitations to top-tier events are sent out in advance.
“Now all the countries of the G20 have received their invitations,” he added.
“As for organizing the meeting itself, like the one we had yesterday, it was not easy, but, in the end, everyone is in the same room,” he said.
