The actor William Levy recently had the opportunity to verify that, as in the United States and many Latin American countries, his name and face are more than recognizable on the other side of the Atlantic. And it is that the Cuban interpreter was given a full bath of crowds upon his arrival in Spain this April, where he went to officially present his new advertising campaign for the El Corte Inglés department store chain.
After several weeks of secrecy in this regard, it was finally revealed that the protagonist of the series ‘Café con aroma de mujer’, which has also become a television phenomenon in the European country, had traveled to Madrid to meet thousands of fans and, of course, to publicize the novelties for the spring-summer season of the fashion firm Emidio Tucci, which is exclusively marketed by the aforementioned company.
As happened in previous years with other famous ambassadors of the brand, such as George Clooney or Jon Hamm, the promotional posters for the new line of men’s suits starring Levy cover many of the buildings, bus shelters and other public spaces in the city of Madrid, yes as of many other localities of the Spanish geography. Passers-by, as well as the artist’s millions of fans on Instagram, are clearly enchanted by this eye-catching and impressive urban décor.
“The best choice to represent this brand“, “They have surpassed themselves, spectacular!” or “You can’t be more handsome, a total success of El Corte Inglés” are just some of the numerous comments left by Internet users on the company’s Instagram account, which expects a significant increase in Emidio Tucci’s sales thanks to his celebrated initiative. “It makes me want to buy a suit, even if it’s to hang it in the closet,” joked an Instagram user.
