Two women and one man stole a stash of 112 diamond rings worth almost half a million dollars from a store in the famous Jewelry District of Midtown New York, in a robbery in broad daylight.

According to the NYPD, an alleged thief entered the store on West 47th Street, near Sixth Avenue, just before 3 pm on April 7, along with another woman and a man acting as lookouts.

When a worker of 33 years old went to a back room, the woman went behind the counter and took 112 white and yellow gold diamond rings, worth approximately $450,000 dollars, and put them in his bag, police said yesterday, releasing photos and videos of the robbery.

The suspect and her alleged partners in crime then fled to the Metro station 40-50 St/ Rockefeller Center and got on to an F train heading Uptown/Queens, according to New York Post.

The male suspect has between 30 and 47 years old and is slim and approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall. The two women requested were described as being between 25 and 35 years (the youngest) and 40-50 years, the oldest. The three suspects have a Hispanic appearance.
