The Chicago City Council approved the plan for support cards for gasoline and public transportation. Thus, with the Chicago Moves program, the city will broadcast up to 50,000 prepaid gasoline cards of $150 dollars and 100,000 prepaid transit cards of $50 dollars to eligible residents throughout this city.
Transit cards can be used to purchase transit tickets at Ventra vending machines located at CTA stations, as well as at Ventra retail stores located throughout the city, or also online through the Ventra website or mobile application.
On the other hand, the use of the gasoline card will be limited to the purchase of gasoline at the pumps located in any station service within the City of Chicago.

According to the official Chicago Moves website, to obtain the benefits of the program, you must meet the following requirements:
– Be a resident of Chicago.
–Be at least 18 years old.

2–You can apply in person at any Chicago Public Library location. You cannot apply at City Hall.
3–You can apply by mail by sending a letter containing a complete application to the following address:

If you qualify for support, you can receive your card in three ways:
