Adamari Lópes versus Quique Usales: disagreeing is not a sin and fighting on television gives ratings. In the Hoy Día program they discussed the recent statements of the young actress Sofía Castro. And it is that the daughter of Angélica Rivera returned to the old statements made by the actress Cynthia Klitbo, about the ex-wife of Enrique Peña Nieto.
Sofía stressed that she had not liked the Klitbo interview at the time, that she had not been pleased to see how another person, a colleague of the also actress, talked about issues that not even she, being the daughter of the one involved, dared to speak in public.
Sofía says: “Yes, the interview that Cynthia did bothered me when she exposed my mother so much, the truth is that I am not going to speak the least because the only one who knows her story and the only one who has the right to tell her truth, her story is my mom”.
Adamari López understood the young woman’s position and supported her words, while Usales did not see it the same way. For the Puerto Rican it is normal for Angélica to trust her friends and open up to them, which is why she supports Sofía when she says that in the end the one who has to tell her truth is Angélica Rivera herself, not her friends to whom she can trust your secrets. She endorses Sofía’s words when she says that not even she is willing to talk about the life of the former first lady of Mexico.
For Quique this is understandable from the point of view that they are public figures, and that in previous years they lived opening themselves to the public, even showing their closets. Adamari disagreed, asserting that they could stop doing it as soon as they wanted, implying that even when they are public figures, at the moment they decide to expose themselves they can do so and this must be understood as well as accepted and/or respected.
Quique then provided a very valid point of view: “Sure, but they can’t get angry if someone speaks because they are the first ones who opened the door of the house to show it”. Adamari concluded the conversation realizing that they were not going to agree, and that is that while Quique seems to see this issue from the journalistic point of view, Adamari shares a vision from the skin of a celebrity. Of course, Adamari, as always, was polite, since she settled the issue, making it clear that even when she does not agree with her partner, she respects his position.
