Canadian publisher Louise Blouin, owner of Louise Blouin Media and art collector, has an impressive property in Southampton, New York, valued at $110 million dollars and will be auctioned on May 2.
Blouin was described by the New York Post as “The Great Gatsby of the art world”, a nickname that is a good summary of the power that the entrepreneur of 63 year old.
As with most billionaires, everything in their business is not rosy. Six years ago, Blouin was included in the Panama Papers.
The farm that will be auctioned is made up of two houses, one dating from 1897 and another house -for guests- that was built in 2002.
On numerous occasions this property has been put up for sale. The first was in 2016, when the publisher listed it on the real estate market for $145 million dollars . The lack of interested parties caused it to be put up for rent for $1 million dollars a month.
In March of 2019 the property stopped appearing on specialized pages for sale and was included again in September of the same year for $110 millions of dollars.
The entire property has features worth admiring, an example is the four floors of the main house or the large security doors that offer privacy to its inhabitants.
Among the luxuries that the place has is a tennis court, two swimming pools, polished wood floors in the interiors, French doors, coffered ceilings, gyms, saunas and more.
