Walmart+ has launched a promotion to help members reduce fuel costs with a greater discount per gallon at the pump at an expanded line of fuel stations.

As of 27 April Walmart+ members are receiving an instant discount of up to 10 cents per gallon of fuel purchased at participating service stations.

With the addition of 12,000 Exxon and Mobil stations across the country, now associates will have a Walmart+ fuel discount on more than 12, 000 stations, which represents an increase in options of more than six times.

Walmart+ members will save 10 cents per gallon on participating Exxon and Mobil locations, as well as 5 to 10 cents per gallon at Walmart and Murphy stations (the Member savings at Walmart and Murphy fuel locations range from 5 to 10 cents based on state regulations). Member pricing is also available at more than 500 Sam’s Club locations.

“Ninety-one percent of our customers are aware of the increased prices at the pump and almost half of them told us they are changing their behavior because of them,” said Chris Cracchiolo, senior vice president and general manager of Walmart+. “More access to a higher discount will make a difference for our customers. We want Walmart+ to help our customers save time and money, not just when they shop with us, but throughout the day.”

“We welcome Walmart+ members to more than 12,000 Exxon and Mobil stations across the country and look forward to giving you 10 cents off per gallon,” said Bill Barenborg, marketing manager for ExxonMobil. “We know that families want to maximize their budgets and we look forward to helping them do just that while fueling up with Synergy fuel technology that helps improve fuel economy, protects engines and enables better vehicle responsiveness.”

Other Walmart+ benefits and offers include newly added six months of free Spotify Premium, free grocery deliveries from stores Walmart, free shipping on Walmart.com with no minimum order, Scan & Go contactless payment and more.
