Throughout ten years of marriage, Alessandra Rosaldo and Eugenio Derbez have had to make some professional sacrifices and learned to overcome the ups and downs of combining the immense fame of the actor with their personal life.
After recently facing new rumors that pointed to an alleged separation, now the couple has spoken openly about their love story and the rules they have had to implement to stay together for so long.
The artists have learned to support each other and work together, but not everything has been hunky-dory, because they have also had to give in to please the other.
“Yes, there is a part in which, of course, we are a team, and we have collaborated together and do many things together, it is work , but we also have this other part that is independent of each other”, revealed the actress and singer in an interview with the Mexican presenter Jorge Ramos, for the broadcast ‘Algo Personal’.
“Unlike how people see us from the outside, who think we are the perfect couple, we are a very imperfect couple. People think we don’t fight, but we do fight a lot. I think the secret is that we know how to fight”, affirmed the interpreter of ‘Amor de papel’.
Alessandra confessed that in addition to the skills they have acquired to express their disagreements, the sacrifices they have made done in their professional careers, has also kept them united.
“I have chosen, at various times in the almost years that we have been together, our relationship above my career. I stopped and then, when Aitana was born, of course”, the artist confessed.
And it is that Alessandra put aside her career as a singer to focus entirely on her family and the upbringing of his daughter Aitana, now seven years old, a decision that is now reconsidered after the reunion of the group of the years 16 and being part of the concert series of the 90’s Pop Tour.
“There was a time when I did miss him. I hadn’t realized how much I needed it until I got back. It is a priority to keep that part of me alive, of my personal accomplishment, of my time for myself or of getting on stage if I want to get on stage”, Alessandra pointed out.
