washington-dc-mother-stabbed-to-death-after-throwing-her-2-month-old-baby-in-the-dumpster

A woman who admitted to throwing her baby’s body in the dumpster last year in Washington DC was stabbed to death by the child’s father, authorities said Thursday.

LaDonia Boggs , aged 39 years old, was injured with a knife in the middle of a domestic incident at her home in Northeast DC on Wednesday morning.

In relation with the facts, Carl Jones, of 44, was accused. The suspect is facing second degree murder charges.

Jones was the father of 2-month-old Kyon Jones, who was reported missing in May of last year.

Local media reported that Boggs alleged to authorities that he crushed the child with his body while he was under the influence of the drug known as “angel dust” or PCP.

“He was asleep on my chest and when I woke up, he was no longer breathing, because he was so short. He was only two months old. It was a premature baby”, the woman alleged last year as quoted by WRC-TV.

“I went back to the house and I grabbed a sheet and the ‘car seat,’ and I wrapped it up and took it out and threw it in the trash,” the mother continued.

Boggs was initially charged with murder, but the charges against her were reduced to evidence alteration after the minor’s remains could not be located.

When she was murdered, the woman was waiting for the trial against her to begin.
