For the second time, the Football Writers Association (FWA) chose Egyptian Mohamed Salah this Friday as the best player of the year in the Premier League. The award ceremony will take place next Thursday.

Salah, who has already received this award in 2018, add 22 many and 13 assists in the 32 games he has played in the Premier League; not counting the 8 goals and the assistance he has in the Champions League.
Currently, Liverpool is 1 point behind Manchester City in the Premier League. Nine footballers from the Reds received votes, compared to six from the Skye Blues.
It is worth noting that this award has been for a Liverpool or Manchester City player in the last five seasons. Citizen defender Rubén Días won the award last year.
