Terry Long, a man 32 years old, was killed in a gunshot from a vehicle in front of to his home in a quiet neighborhood early in the morning in Ronkonkoma, Long Island (NY).
Long was fatally shot outside his residence in a neighborhood in Suffolk County yesterday around 8 : 50 am by a gunman who opened fire from a passing vehicle, police said.
The man was transported to Brook University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Police said they believe the attack was planned and not accidental.
“What we know so far is that a resident of 385 Wildwood had jump started his car, he went back into the house, got back into his car, and multiple shots were fired at him, his car, and the house,” Suffolk County Police Detective Lt. Kevin Beyrer said shortly after, reported ABC News.
Police have not yet identified the suspect nor have made arrests. A description of the gunman and his vehicle were also not immediately available.

In that same Long Island county, early on the Monday a Hispanic of 50 years was fatally shot in front of a bar.
In and around NYC, gun violence continues to rage in 2022, especially with young attackers and perpetrators. In February in North Babylon, Suffolk County, in an apparent drug conflict, a teenage driver was shot eight times from another car and then crashed on a highway.
A few days later, a young man aged 29 was fatally shot on board of a LIRR (Long Island Rail Road) train in Ronkonkoma that was going from dawn to Penn Station in Manhattan (NYC).
