In Despierta América they reported that this Monday they will reveal the date of the ecclesiastical wedding of Francisca and Francesco Zampogna. In an audiovisual shared by the Univision program they showed several images of the couple who will soon walk down the aisle and at the end you can read “My wedding diary”.
“This Monday we will reveal the date of the wedding of our Francisca and we invite you to live the whole process of this wonderful day”, wrote the program to accompany the clip.
It was the in February when the couple through an exclusive with People en Español announced their ecclesiastical wedding, which will take place in the Dominican Republic, Francisca’s homeland.
In the middle of the preparations for the wedding, on her Instagram account Francisca showed some of the objects that she added to her list of gifts. The Dominican woman put on her list a cheese board, a set of suitcases and even a robot vacuum cleaner.
Francisca’s wedding has received a lot of attention from the fans of the Dominican presenter. “I am happy for your wedding”, was one of the messages that she received in the publication of her gift list.
A few days ago, the Dominican finally fulfilled an objective that she had in her life: to receive US citizenship. In addition, she also made her name change official: she is no longer Lachapel. Her legal name is now Francisca Méndez-Zampogna, her maiden name and her husband’s last name.
“Today I put an end to a chapter in my life that at some point I thought I would never complete. Today I became a citizen of the United States, this nation that has given me so many opportunities. I am happy. I remember those moments of uncertainty, those moments where I felt lost and walked with my suitcase from one place to another, when I arrived in New York I did not know where I was going and what was going to happen to me, once again it reaffirms me that God knows everything what he does and that everything difficult that happens to one prepares him for great moments and today is a great moment”, he said after receiving his citizenship and remembering his emotional audition in Nuestra Belleza Latina 2015.
