Venezuelan boxer Romain Villa defeated Peruvian Jesús Bravo this Friday by technical knockout in the fourth round at the ‘Box and Roll’ evening, which is being held at a hotel in Panama City.
Villa was dominant from the first round, always looking for the fight head-on, against an opponent who was trying not to receive a blow that would knock him out from the first round.
In the second act, Villa, flat footed and forward, continued to suffocate Brav or, who can connect some blows, that did not move the humanity of his rival, that I followed with a frontal fight pattern.
The third assault was the definitive one, a right to the ear of Bravo put it wrong, to the point that he almost left the ring. He never got better from that hand and another right hand sent him to the canvas, for the second time in the assault he heard the protection count.
When getting up , Bravo intentionally spat on the mouthguard, followed by a one-point deduction from the referee.
The outcome of the fight came in the fourth round, when Bravo’s corner did not allow him to come out to fight, which gave Villa the victory, who now improves his record to 23 wins, 1 loss and 23 by way of knockout.
Villa is a native of Barranquitas, Rosario de Perijá municipality, in the Zulia stadium in Venezuela.
