chipotle-will-give-nurses-$1-million-worth-of-free-burritos

Chipotle is rewarding healthcare workers during the pandemic the best way it knows how, by giving them free food. And although the pandemic, fortunately, seems to be losing more and more strength, Chipotle is still continuing with these promotions.

That’s why Chipotle will give free burritos to 2,000 medical professionals for a year to celebrate National Nurses Day, which is May 6.

That equates to $1 million dollars worth of burritos, which is the The largest “Free Chipotle for a year” award the company has ever given.

“The morale of our health heroes becomes more and more important every year. With the help of our fans, we are starting a movement for genuine recognition of our medical professionals that will feed many of them real food for an entire year,” Chief Marketing Officer Chris Brandt said in a press release.

Chipotle is asking for the public’s help in selecting the lucky healthcare workers who will receive a year’s worth of free burritos.

Through May 6, the chain will asks customers to nominate a medical professional who is close to them or their community by leaving a comment on the chain’s Facebook, Instagram or Twitter promotion posts below.

As of the week of May 9th, Chipotle will randomly select the 2 000 medical professionals tagged in the reviews to receive free Chipotle for one year. The chosen people will be notified through direct messages on their social networks.

In addition, Chipotle is partnering with the American Nurses Foundation so customers can round up their change to the highest dollar amount when making a purchase online or through the app.

This money will be donated directly to nurses.
