Texas officials have identified the remains of Taylor Pomaski, the missing girlfriend of former NFL player Kevin Ware, Harris County Sheriff’s Office Senior Deputy Thomas Gilliland confirmed.
Remains found during a search in northern Harris County in December of 2021 belong to the wife of 29 years old, Gilliland told People.
Deputies say no suspects have been arrested in connection with the Pomaski case, according to KPRC-TV. An official cause of death has also not been revealed, and toxicology results are still pending, the outlet assured.
The disappearance of Taylor Pomaski
Pomaski was reported missing by her family on 11 from May of last year, KPRC-TV reported in June. The woman’s family reportedly told authorities they believed she was possibly in danger.
Pomaski was last seen on 23 April 2021, while at a house party on Stallion Brooks Lane in Spring, Texas; investigators suspect that Pomaski may have been the victim of “foul play”.
In an interview with ABC-11, the woman’s father, Stephen Pomaski, said his family learned on Mother’s Day that they had not spoken to her since April.
