More than a week after the defeat between Saúl ‘Canelo’ Álvarez against the Russian Dmitry Bivol, fellow boxer and youtuber, Logan Paul, has expressed his opinion on the result, which carries a strong message to the Mexican as he states that he himself has left a stain on his legacy.
In an interview granted to TMZ Sports, Logan Paul has indicated that it is unfortunate that ‘Canelo’ lost to Bivol, since it is a stain in his legacy that will never be erased and will never be forgotten.
“This whole situation is sad. oh man! No, it’s not washed. It’s not, it’s Canelo, it’s not washed. He is one of the best boxers in history. But he just sucks. What, what a stain on a legacy. It’s just a stain, but it’s there, it’s there”, expressed the celebrity on social networks.
In this fight, the Mexican boxer suffered only the second defeat of his career, thus seeing the end of a nine-year undefeated streak after losing for the first time in 2013 to the legendary Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather.
Seeing this, it is evident that at his 31 years old, Saúl Álvarez can boast of having an impressive career in which he also accumulates 57 victories (39 by knockout), which make him be classified as one of the best fighters in history.
Likewise, it must be taken into account that there is a possibility that ‘Canelo’ could have a rematch against Bivol that, although it will not erase the previous result, could change the current opinions in case of reaching the victory.
