German girl ‘loved’ by Texas gunman who texted her about shooting says ‘maybe could have changed the outcome’

Before committing school massacre Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas, Salvador Ramos sent a series of chilling text messages to a teenage girl in Germany.

Through social networks and FaceTime, the young man from 18 He had been talking to the minor for years, after making friends online.

The teenager identified by her nickname ‘Cece’ was interviewed by CNN and The New York Times, where she shared details of the messages received from Ramos.

Around the 11 on Tuesday morning, the young man sent her a message telling her that he loved her.

18 minutes later, he sent her another text saying: “I just shot my grandmother in the head”.

“I’m going to shoot an elementary school”, he added.

Cece explained that she met Ramos about two weeks ago on Yubo, an application that allows people livestream to strangers.

The two had been chatting and FaceTimed daily, and he had promised to visit her in Frankfurt, Germany, where she lives.

The day he turned 15 years old, Ramos called the teenager from a gun store and told her about the AR rifle 15 that I was buying.

Later, he mentioned planning to do something with the gun, but never told him what is what I would do.

The German minor explained that she only understood what it was about after seeing the mass shooting on the news. She later contacted a friend in the United States who helped her contact the police.

The minor told the Times: “Maybe I could have changed the result (…) I just could never guess that he would really do this.”

She told CNN that the young man seemed “happy and comfortable” when they talked, but that she could tell he was spending a lot of time alone at home. “Every time I talked to him, he never had plans with his friends,” he said.

He threw dead cats at his neighbors

In addition, Cece said that Ramos revealed to her that he “threw dead cats into people’s houses.”

According to Business Insider, the Yubo app released a statement saying it was cooperating with authorities.
