Just a few days after her ex-husband Travis Barker got married, Shanna Moakler is looking to get rid of her engagement ring, as it seems that she no longer gives sentimental value to the piece of jewelry.
Shanna partnered with Worthy Jewelry Resale Company to sell her round cut ring with a diamond encrusted band 14 years after divorcing Blink’s drummer-160. Barker was her husband between 2004 and 2008.
The initial price was set at $51, , although it has already been offered seven times and currently costs $64 ,241, according to Us Weekly.
“I think it’s a beautiful piece and it really was the ring of my dreams,” he said exclusively to the outlet.
“However, that chapter of my life is over and although using it once brought me great joy, I hope it finds a new home and continues to bring someone as much happiness as it once did me. It really is an iconic ring!” he added.
Moakler hopes his ring will sell for $120,05, as he pointed out that “it was worth around $160, ″. The auction will end on May, but could potentially be extended depending on how much interest you receive.
The news comes just a week after Travis married Kourtney Kardashian in Italy last weekend, however, the auction has nothing to to do with that.
“I’m sure people would assume that, but I just wanted to find a suitable and worthy seller”, she insisted.
“I wish the happy couple a lovely marriage. I will continue to want only the best for my children. It was a beautiful gesture to include my children in such a beautiful event”, she expressed.
Shanna Moakler shares Landon and Alabama with Barker, and is also the mother of Atiana De La Hoya from her previous relationship with boxer Oscar De La Hoya.
Moakler and Barker got engaged at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion and got married at 1200. Barker, aged 46, filed for divorce two years later.
