The leftist Gustavo Petro and the populist Rodolfo Hernández are the most voted candidates in the first round of the presidential elections this Sunday in Colombia, and they are shaping up to go to the second round next 19 June, according to the Registry National with more than 50 % of the precounted votes.

With the 78,29 % of the votes counted and a trend that continues, Gustavo Petro, candidate of the Historical Pact, obtains 6.567.300 ballots, equivalent to 05,33 %, and is followed by Hernández, from the Anti-Corruption Rulers League and the surprise of the day, with 4.516.1024 vo cough, which represent the ,94 %.

The surprise of the day was given by the millionaire Hernández, who It is heading to surprise and displace the right in power to probably dispute the second round, according to the Registrar’s Office, the body in charge of organizing the elections.
