In Mexico, one of the states with high crime rates is the State of Mexico. According to data provided by the Inegi, the municipalities of Toluca, Ecatepec, Nezahualcóyotl, Tlalnepantla and Atizapán de Zaragoza are the territories of the State of Mexico with the most crime incidents and the highest perception of insecurity according to the National Urban Security Survey.
The theft figure in said Mexican entity, until March 2022, was 12,550 robberies, according to the State Executive Secretariat of Public Security of the State of Mexico .
And precisely in Ecatepec, last May 24 was registered an event that has already given around the world because the video went viral due to the way a man reacted when he suffered an assault next to his partner.
In the clip that circulates on social networks and was captured by a security camera, you can see 2 men on a motorcycle, descending of this and assault a couple who were walking down the street.
The thieves approached the woman who, to her surprise, had to face this difficult moment alone, since her boyfriend ran away from the place.
Meanwhile, the girl who remained in the place was stripped of her things and walked normally after the incident.
