Pathik Oza, originally from New Jersey, graduated from 2018 from Rutgers University, where he studied psychology and biology, with $70,10 dollars of student loan debt.
One time After graduating from school, Oza decided to do a good deed and began to relocate used and discarded books to libraries and schools.
“I was walking one day during the summer and I saw books lying there, and I thought that there would be an opportunity”, he said.
“Why what would the books be thrown away? They could be redistributed to someone who needs them. So I started this volunteer job where I would collect unwanted books,” the entrepreneur told Fox News.
What started out as a kind gesture and an opportunity to give back to libraries, schools, shelters and local children’s hospitals became a brilliant new business opportunity.

Increasing number of book requests and high demand for their services became too big for Oza, who distributed all the books in his Toyota RAV4.
It was thus that Oza made the decision to turn the reselling of books into his business and began by opening an account from Amazon. He called his business O3 Books.
“The profit would keep coming and keep growing. In about a month, he had about 1, 000 to 2, 000 books in Amazon warehouses. So it was very good to see the growth in the business,” he said.
Oza continued to expand by launching a website and opening an Etsy shop, where he made huge profits as the coronavirus quarantine hit.
For the purposes of 2020, Oza had won $115,000 dollars thanks to his business, with which he could pay off his student loans in full, and even had leftovers.
For other students with debt who are looking for a way to pay off their loans, Oza advised that considering starting a small business is a good idea and highly recommended taking advantage of online marketplaces like Amazon and Etsy.
