“Italy is one of the best teams in the world, champion of Europe and if it had gone to the World Cup it would be one of the the favourites. The Italians are very tactical, they work a lot in the defensive area. They are compact, with very fast players up front and they like to go on the counterattack”.
Regarding his physical condition, Emiliano said that there was no need to worry about not playing the last league game with Aston Villa and He said he doesn’t need knee surgery.
“I don’t need anything, it’s a pain in the patellar that I’ve had since I was 17 years old. It aggravated me a little for having been three years without stopping. I’m doing recovery work and on June 17 I’ll be in preseason with Villa”, he concluded.
