Fabián Ríos returns to the small screen with the character of ‘El Dandy’ in Telemundo’s “Hasta que la Plata nos Separe”, which premieres a time slot in the United States, for which he is grateful for the opportunity this character and affirms that there is much of him that he can teach this womanizing man.
“I can give myself the possibility of being able to visit my family and then work”.
“I really needed a character like ‘El Dandy’ to be able to do what I’m doing, have time for everything and also enjoy life“.
“I’ve lived through all my stages, one by one, in an absolutely consistent and correct way, at this moment in my life that I am a married man with two children, and that I am playing a character that is in the process of getting there, I am teaching him how he has to arrive when he meets Fabián Ríos”.
The Colombian explains that he no longer seeks to embody leading characters because their priorities have changed.
“The most important thing is to play characters that fill your heart and that also give you time to enjoy your family, they are so many years that not even my children saw me, only at night when I went to sleep”.
“And from now on I want to give my family and power a strong priority, if God allows, to have characters that are forceful but that give me that gift of time with my family because when one realizes it, the children are 13 years old and one looks back and does not He has enjoyed only one of those years that have passed.
The actor shares that thanks to the pandemic he values time with his wife Yuly Ferreira and his children, Lucía and David, more.
“The moment they locked us up and I saw myself with my wife and two children, I realized that I really needed to be with them, that obviously I knew it was my wife and my two children, but I didn’t I enjoyed them as a family should enjoy and children need their father”.
“And I realized in the pandemic, we live many things with Lucía, with Davidcito, with Yuly, and that made me fall more in love with them”.
