An alleged perverted thief who got out of a car to hit and rob a woman on a Brooklyn (NYC) street and returned minutes later to sexually assault her, police said when they released a sketch of the fugitive suspect.
The reported double crime occurred around 2 am on Friday while the victim of 29 years ago I was standing outside a building on St. Marks Ave. and East New York Ave., in the Crown Heights neighborhood.
First the assailant, who was driving a dark SUV, He approached her and asked if she needed a ride, police said. She refused and he got out of his vehicle, punched her in the stomach and took her bag before fleeing, police said.
The bag contained her cell phone and other items. The victim began walking west on St. Marks Ave. toward his home and walked a few blocks before the unrelenting shooter showed up again in his truck, police said.
Again He got out of the car and sexually assaulted her near St. Marks and Howard Av. He then ran off again, police said. The victim went to Brookdale University Hospital for treatment a day later, on Saturday.
NYPD described the suspect as a dark-complexioned man, weighing about 185 pounds, 5ft 8 / 5ft 10, with brown eyes, a mustache and short dark hair. At the time of the attack he was wearing a black baseball cap, blue jeans and a t-shirt.
