The first Dasher sent her photos and she explained that she was blind: “Hey, I’m visually impaired. I can’t see these photos. Can you please use your words? So the delivery man canceled his order.

On his second try, @officialblindbeauty chose to tell the Dasher about her visual impairment and the specific instructions on where the food should be placed, since before the order was picked up, the operation was also cancelled.

The woman was able to get her food in a third attempt, when he chose not to report his blindness, although the Dasher did not follow the instructions, and refused a request from the receptionist of the building where he would deliver the order.

The video of @officialblindbeauty had a great response on the network, accumulating more than four thousand comments, many of them sharing their complaints.

The woman said in the comments that DoorDash used to be awesome, though she thinks their service is getting worse every day. Although, some people advised the woman to remove the application. She said that she has been given extra credits when these things happen, so she hasn’t deleted it yet.

DoorDash also responded to the video. “We are very sorry that you had to experience this type of treatment. Trust us when we say that we fully understand her feelings, “wrote the food ordering and delivery company.

The visually impaired user explained that she lost her sight due to a pseudotumor cerebri. This syndrome, also known as idiopathic intracranial hypertension, is a condition in which pressure inside the skull increases.
