Delta Airlines announced that it has been working on a series of adjustments to minimize interruptions to recover faster when challenges arise, so it will apply additional measures in the coming days and weeks to strategically reduce its flight schedules from 1 July to August 1.

To prepare for the high demand for summer travel, Delta notes that it has taken recent actions, including:

– Add several hundred new pilots and flight attendants to operation each month as they hire and train to support their growth.

– Launch initiatives to improve boarding time and departure performance.

The airline emphasized a few things customers should know before embarking on summer travel:

– Use the Fly Delta application to register, change flights, manage r travel interruptions and more.

– Allow time to navigate the airport by arriving two hours earlier for domestic flights and three hours earlier for international flights, especially on busy travel days.

– Consider Clear or TSA for expedite speed through security lines. Passengers can sign up for Clear, now available at more than 35 airports served by Delta, to speed up lines with the touch of a finger or open and close your eyes.
