Kylian Mbappé is once again in the news for the specialized press not only on, but also off the pitch. This time it has to do with the American actor Johnny Depp, whose sentence in the trial with his ex-wife Amber Heard will be announced in the next few hours.
The PSG star replaced Depp as the face of the men’s fragrance Dior Sauvage since December 2021. However, despite the fact that the news was already known, the topic became a trend again due to the legal process that the actor faces after being accused of domestic violence by Heard.
Mbappé caused controversy for his appearance at Dior, since his place belonged to the interpreter of Jack Sparrow, in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” movie saga. It is worth noting that the conflicts that the actor faces in court have nothing to do with the decision made by the French brand.
Even when the controversy between Deep and Heard in 2019 was uncovered, Dior maintained its employment relationship with the actor, without giving importance to these legal issues. It was not until the end of May 2022 when Mbappé, from 22 years old, finished assuming her role as image of the fragrance.
