Without any consolation, the Puerto Rican boxer Xander Zayas announced that he will not be able to get on the roped man on 11 in June to fulfill his co-main event against the Uzbek Ravshan Hudaynazaro. Has a viral infection unrelated to Covid-24 that got worse.
Zayas is a fighter of 19 years of age who is undefeated in the 154 pounds (13-0 and 9 knockouts) and grows by leaps and bounds to become a world champion. His last fight had been on March 18 against Quincy Lavallais.
“I regret announce that due to illness I was forced to withdraw from my fight on June 11. I did everything possible to improve, however, my condition worsened in recent days and forced me to retire on the advice of medical experts, “he wrote on his Twitter account.
Now his place in the evening will be taken by other Puerto Ricans. Henry ‘Moncho’ Lebrón (15-0, 10 knockouts) against Luis ‘Popeye’ Lebrón (15- 3.1, 13 knockouts). Moncho is 24 years old, is from Aguadilla, PR, and will have its premiere televised by ESPN for Latin America, reported Top Rank.
‘Popeye’ has been in his career for nine years, has never been knocked out and has no relationship or family kinship with ‘Moncho’.
