As the world’s biggest female pop star from Brazil and the first soloist from that country to take the main stage at Coachella, Anitta has arrived at Madame Tussauds in New York with a wax figure in her image and likeness that has left everyone open-mouthed because of her enormous resemblance and how sexy she looks.
Now fans from all over the world will be able to see and interact with the figure of the singer, whose look was inspired in the music video for ‘Girl From Rio’, her first song to enter the Top 40 of American radio.
The museum , one of the most popular in the world, celebrated the reveal with a side-by-side photo shoot with Anitta, who also shared the news of the official launch of her figure with her more than 40 millions of followers on Instagram.
“¡ It’s amazing to be a part of this project! At first she couldn’t believe that she was actually invited. I mean, I never thought a wax figure of me could stand alongside some of the biggest stars in history at Madame Tussauds in New York. A lot of hard work from the museum team went into this, so I’m very proud and excited for the world to see it,” Anitta revealed on the social network.
The striking figure wears a cut-off T-shirt short that shows off toned abs and a jeweled thong, ripped jeans and pointed toe denim boots complete the fashion ensemble. The entire look was worn and donated to Madame Tussauds by Anitta.

The Madame Tussauds studio artists worked in collaboration with the singer and her team of makeup artists and stylists to capture her exact measurements, hair color, eye color, tattoos, skin tone and complexion. Dozens of detailed notes resulted in a meticulous blend of Brazilian artist beauty.
“Anitta is an incredible global musical sensation and we are very excited to present the new wax figure of her at Madame Tussauds New York. Her passionate and loyal fans will now have the opportunity to interact with her like never before as she appears among other music icons,” revealed Tiago Mogadouro, director of marketing for the New York-based museum.
Since breaking into Brazil seven years ago, the singer, songwriter, actress, dancer and businesswoman has become a leading artist of a new Latin music generation. Their fifth album, ‘Versions of Me’, was released in April 2022 in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
