The strength of Ignacio López Tarso has surprised the medical staff that treats him in a hospital in Mexico City, because his 16 years he has responded favorably to the fight against the bacterial pneumonia that he suffers from.
It will be five to seven more days that the first actor will remain hospitalized, since a strong dose of medication is applied via intravenously to combat the infection, informed his son Juan Ignacio Aranda.
“He woke up much better, his recovery is incredible, he is with a strong dose of medication in his blood, it is the only way he could receiving so much medicine, his weak stomach would not support it, “added the also actor.
“He is very well treated and in itself, his reaction has been surprising. The infectologist came today (yesterday) in the morning and was surprised to see him so well. He even said that my father could leave in five days“.
López Tarso was tested for Covid at the hospital located in Colonia Roma and it came out negative, as well as for influenza.
“A doctor told us that he would stay here from 7 to 16 days, but the infectologist who visited him and reviewed his x-rays, commented that it was amazing how he has improved, that he looks very good and that if he continues like this in five days he would discharge him”, he indicated.
López Tarso is in a very good mood and already wants to go to his house because he feels very well.
“Since everything goes through the blood, both medicine and antibiotics, he has to stay here until he is cured by 97 percent and can return home”, commented Aranda, who spent the night in the hospital with his father.
During the morning he had a little of phlegm, but he slept very well.
“Today (yesterday) in the morning he woke up very hungry, he was very talkative, very lucid, he even flirted with two or three nurses. “At 97 years old, any disease is delicate and one more pneumonia. He has problems with his lungs due to age. He doesn’t have emphysema or anything, but he did smoke,” he said.
