After calling for a review of gun control laws in the US in the wake of the tragic mass shooting at a Texas elementary school, he left 19 children and two dead teachers, Kim Kardashian has now decided to raise her voice to help the family of one of the victims.
Eliahana Cruz Torres, of 10 years, was one of the 19 murdered children and the businesswoman made a call to the Federal Bureau of Prisons so that Eli Torres, the father of the minor, be temporarily released to attend to his funeral.
Kardashian used his social networks to request help and thus allow Eli to say goodbye to his daughter in person.
“This is Eliahana ‘Ellie’ Cruz Torres, from 10 years, and one of the 19 victims of the shooting scan in Uvalde, TX. His family desperately hopes that his father, who is incarcerated, will be granted a temporary release permit so that he can attend his funeral,” he wrote on Instagram.
Eli Torres is being held in a Kentucky prison, where he is serving a sentence of 25 years related to gangs and drug dealing, and has already applied to be allowed to attend her daughter’s funeral, but so far that application has been denied.
“I ask the Federal Bureau of Prisons to grant temporary release to Eli Torres so that he can say goodbye to his baby”

“So far your application has been denied. All parents deserve that right, “said Kim next to an image of the girl.
