Resident was not far behind and joined the new controversy starring J Balvin and Christian Nodal. The Puerto Rican rapper reacted after the Colombian published an image comparing his look and that of Belinda’s ex-boyfriend, who recently changed it, and comments were unleashed on both sides.
Resident went up in the stories of his Instagram accounts a video, recording different caps with the letter R, as his logo, and in the song ‘Limón con sal’ by Christian Nodal is heard. The Puerto Rican mentioned the Mexican singer and gave him a salt shaker and a lemon to accompany the audiovisual. This video was shared by Nodal on his Instagram profile in the midst of all the responses he gave to J Balvin. The Mexican even mentioned Residente in the speech he offered in response to the post made by the Colombian.
Nodal’s response after the publication made by J Balvin was given through a series of videos published in their Instagram stories: “Look my people, this guy didn’t wake up joking, he woke up without taking his pills because it’s not at all consistent that the bastard has a documentary talking about peace, mental health, vibes and energy, but in his account that has millions and millions of followers uploaded a photo to make fun of me. Where clearly, and everyone knows it, I’m getting up from a shit … very ugly that I lived. They understand? And there is no right to do those things. You have to use the networks well”.
He said this before going to record a song that he will dedicate to the Colombian, just as Residente did a few months ago in his remembered session with the Argentine producer Bizarrap .
J Balvin assured that his publication had been as a jokingly: “They compared him to me, they compared me to him, whatever the photo is, we’re both pretty, or I don’t know, I feel sexy, confident, sure, the person takes it badly and that’s his problem . One cannot make a joke because they get very sensitive. Then nothing. If you are going to get rid of it, let it be romantic and sell and break the streamings because it has always worked for them”.
