A taxi driver was shot in the chest this morning and despite being seriously injured, he drove back to his station in the Bronx, according to police and police sources.
The victim of 60 was shot in the chest in an unspecified location, but managed to return to the “VIT Car Service” base. ” on White Plains Road, near Archer Street in the Van Nest neighborhood, reported New York Post.
Police were called to base around 2 am today and the unidentified victim was rushed to Jacobi Medical Center, where he is listed in critical condition. The circumstances leading up to the shooting, and information about a suspect, were not immediately known.
