The future of the Portuguese striker remains a real mystery, since Manchester United will not play in the UEFA Champions League and the results are not compatible with the striker’s level of competitiveness. However, the Portuguese has hinted that he could stay in England, as he told the media that he feels very happy in Manchester and at the club.
His name has been linked to others from the big clubs in Europe, due to the moment that the “Red Devils” are living, however, the Portuguese has never stopped showing all the love he feels for the club.
“Of course I was happy to be back at a club that really elevated my career. It was incredible. The feeling when I come back again, it was nice to feel the fans. Their happiness as great. I was, and still am, very happy to be here”, commented Cristiano Ronaldo.
“I think Manchester will be where it belongs. As I say before, sometimes it takes time, but I still believe. Ronaldo finished as United’s top scorer in the Premier League after scoring 18 goals. The Portuguese stated that he was still motivated for the new season“, added the Portuguese.
Likewise, Ronaldo was firmly committed to his return to the “Theater of Dreams” for everything he experienced more than a decade ago in England and had the “Red Devils” above the monetary proposal of Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain.
It is no secret to anyone that the Portuguese has a very high level of competitiveness and that beyond his goals, he likes to win many titles and be in every season finale. That is why his future remains unknown due to United’s poor season.
“The records they come naturally. I don’t follow records, but records follow me. So it’s good. It is still my motivation to continue. Just working hard. I still love the passion for the game. And, of course, Manchester and my teammates helped me at all times, so I have to thank all the people who help Cristiano”, continued the Portuguese.
The season 2022-2023, will be very interesting for Manchester United, as they will be playing in the Europa League and they will be managed by a new coach and that is Erik Ten Hag; who left Ajax to face a new challenge in England. Likewise, it has been speculated on the fact that the Dutch decided not to have the Portuguese. However, both parties have conveyed their desire to move the club forward
“He did a fantastic job for Ajax and he is an experienced coach. But we have to give him time and things have to change, as he wants. I hope we succeed, of course. Because if you are successful, all of Manchester will be too”, concluded Cristiano Ronaldo.
Despite this, all that remains is to wait for the decision made by the experienced footballer who, for now, will not broadcast it because he is focused with his team in the dispute for the Nations Cup.
