PUERTO RICO – Judge Iraida Rodríguez, of the San Juan Court, determined cause for arrest for attempted robbery against a woman who wore a blue wig similar to that of the urban singer Karol G, setting a bail of $15,000.00.
Gabriela Alejandra Torres Román, aged 28 and a resident of Juana Díaz, was admitted to the Bayamón correctional complex for failing to post bail, reported the Police Bureau.
The defendant was arrested on Wednesday at the First Bank branch on Luis Muñoz Rivera Avenue, in Río Piedras, after announcing the assault.
Immediately, personnel from the San Juan Motorized Unit and the Violent Crimes Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) arrived at the banking institution where they arrested to the suspect.
Agent Elving J. Castillo Hernández, assigned to the Bank Robbery Division, filed the case.
