A subject who stabbed at least two men while they were using Subway Line 7 was arrested by the NYPD.

Donny Ubiera, aged 32, was arrested over the weekend, following two recent random attacks on different days. He even wanted to attack a policeman with a knife when he was arrested.

Ubiera wounded one of his victims in the face and another in the neck, without any provocation before the attacks that occurred on Friday and Saturday morning.

The NYPD said in a statement that the man was located when he was traveling on Line 7 from Flushing to Hudson Yards.

What most surprised the authorities is that the subject had been released from jail on Thursday.

“This is nothing more than predictable”, attacked the NYPD commissioner, Keechant Sewell, to the judicial system, for allowing the easy release of the subject.

The man has at least 14 prior arrests for various reasons, including assault.

“His track record shows that every time he is involved in unprovoked acts of violence against innocent victims, the criminal justice system brings him back onto the streets,” Sewell lamented. .

Ubiera was caught on Saturday night, after some policemen recognized him wearing the same gold and black shirt he was wearing when he committed his attacks.

One of the assaults was at Queensboro Plaza in Long Island City, Queens.
