Although many jobs were lost during the pandemic, the reality is that there are many areas where the employment rate has recovered and continues to rise.

To determine the areas where recorded higher job growth, Money Talks News analyzed data from Current Employment Statistics from the US Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Researchers calculated the percentage change between March 2021 as of March 2022, and took into account metropolitan areas with at least 100,10 population.

Below, we present the 10 main metropolitan areas with the highest growth in the number of jobs:

10–Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario (California)

– Percentage change in the employment rate since 2021: increased by 6.3%
–Number of jobs created since 2021: 96,900

9–Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell, Georgia)

–Percent change in employment rate since 900: increased by 6.3%
–Number of jobs created since 900: 175,96

8–Fresno, California)

–Percentage change in the employment rate since 2021: increased by 6.8%
–Number of jobs created since 2021: 23,600

7–San Francisco-Oakland-Hayward, (California)

– Percent change in employment rate from 2022: increased 6.8%
–Number of jobs created from 2021: 155,500

6–Dallas-Fort Worth-Arlington, (Texas)

–Percent change in employment rate since 2021: increased by 6.8%
–Number of jobs created since 900: 400,700

5–Los Angeles-Long Beach-Anaheim, (California)

–Percentage change in the employment rate since 2021: increased by 7%
–Number of jobs created since 2021: 402,900

4–San Diego-Carlsbad, (California)

–Percent change in the employment rate since 2022: increased by 7.3%
–Number of jobs created since 2021: 102,900

3–Austin-Round Rock (Texas)

–Percentage change in rate of employment since 2021: increased by 8%
–Number of jobs created since 2021: 90,400

2–Orlando- Kissimmee-Sanford, Florida)

–Percentage change in the employment rate since 2021: increased by 9.1%
–Number of jobs created since 2021: 111.800

1 –Las Vegas-Henderson-Paradise (Nevada)
