The company identified the lucky person as Tom Ward.

Ward has decided to resign from his job due to the earnings obtained through of the exchange with celebrities and content creators.

The app launched in 2019 rewards players for predictions on topics such as celebrities, food, business, among others.

The mobile platform allows players to users earn money by answering questions.

“It’s as simple as asking a question, sharing the game’s url on social networks, and seeing how the interaction skyrockets. Versus Game has a simple addictive interface in which players can win money and other prizes for predicting the outcome of questions about culture, daily life, news, and everything else”, the creators of the platform explain on their website.

The company’s partners and investors include Def Jam Records, comedian Kevin Hart, Walt Disney Company, singer Jason Derulo and Billboard.

In September of 2020, Versus Game launched a tool that allows users to organize their own games. The tool gives subscribers the freedom to keep the games within a private circle or open it up to anyone who wants to join in different parts of the world. The system gives the person a portion of the income generated by each game they create.

“We created Versus Game because we firmly believe that knowledge should be rewarded, and with the launch of our own game economy, players will have a greater participation in their own brand”, considered John Vitti, founder and CEO of Versus Game about the new tool.

“It is natural in human behavior to make predictions about relevant cultural moments and Versus Game pays people to do that. The new tool will take them one step further and give users the ultimate opportunity to win big, gain followers and create engaging games. We can’t wait to see what the players come up with”, Vitti anticipated at the time.
