christian-nodal-attacks-bad-bunny:-“even-to-sing-stupid-things-you-have-to-have-talent”

Christian Nodal has not only been characterized by being one of the exponents of regional Mexican music at his young age, but he has also attracted attention for his constant controversies with other artists such as J Balvin or Belinda, with whom he even had a relationship with the encouragement of reaching the altar.

On this occasion, the interpreter of ‘Botella after bottle’ returned to star in another complicated moment by explaining his point of view regarding another reggaeton artist who is at the peak of success: Bad Bunny.

During an interview with Rolling Stone magazine in Spanish, the Mexican singer spoke about the different genres and the value of musical culture, which he described as magic.

“I think it is very nice to keep the cultures, always maintain our essence, our roots. The regional is a very beautiful genre that has incredible lyrics, incredible melodies,” said the native of the state of Sonora, Mexico.

In the conversation, Belinda’s ex-fiancé pointed out that recording a song music involves a lot of work behind the scenes on the part of the artists, so it is not in accordance with the current lyrics that deal with genres such as reggaeton.

“I also respect all genres, but sometimes I do I know that even to sing assholes and say stupid things you have to have talent. It would never have occurred to me to write something like, ‘If your boyfriend doesn’t suck your ass, why don’t suck’, but you have to have talent to do it“, Christian said referring to the song Safaera, by Bad Bunny.

Christian Nodal also stated that he feels comfortable with the genre of music he performs, contrary to what what would happen with other styles.

“I wouldn’t feel proud singing other things and that’s why this culture has to continue, because it’s the beauty of life. Of course, brands, singing about illicit substances, singing about clothes, it’s fine, but that’s not what life is about. Not all the time you can live partying. I really like the message that my gender gives, it is very close to reality. It is a very kind genre, “added the artist.

The Mexican interpreter maintained his position against reggaeton, which he considers “has no content or a positive message of life.” “And they have the reflectors, the spotlights and the attention that people who do compose, who do sing, who have dedicated time should have.”

Nodal also spoke about the music industry and launched a strong comment about it, because he equated music with “fast food”.

“Music right now is fast food. The way of consuming is crazy. A world hit doesn’t last as long as it used to. We can talk about various themes of songs that have been huge and I bet you, brother, that you don’t even remember the lyrics anymore (…) things don’t go like that. You have to appreciate art, you have to value art, you have to take art with a lot of love, with a lot of respect“, he concluded.
