saxophonist-who-was-arrested-for-playing-on-the-new-york-subway-receives-$100-thousand-in-donations

A famous New York saxophonist has already raised over $100 thousand dollars after being arrested in Midtown. The musician, named Jazz Ajilo, was popular for playing the saxophone accompanied by some animatronic toys in the shape of kittens. The musician put on his show at the subway station on 34 street

Ajilo was recorded on YouTube and posted his arrest on his personal page. To raise the money, he created a GoFundMe campaign.

The New York police stated that the musician was arrested after giving him multiple warnings and after he refused to show identification.

Mayor Eric Adams, giving his opinion on the subject, said that there is a lot of disorder in the New York subway system, and that the citizens elected him to fix said system, and that is what is making.

“That (the subway) is not the place for disorder. That is not the place to do what you want to do as a passenger. Traffic has rules and my officers and your officers will enforce them in a professional and courteous manner. For that, I am proud of those officers. They were not abusive, they did not yell at the person. It took them a long time to get to the point where now we have to take action,” Adams said.

Jazz Ajilo says he has been playing his music in the same subway station for the past five years.

The musician said he created the GoFundMe campaign to help pay for his damaged saxophone and animatronics.
