Although no one won the jackpot this Monday in the Powerball drawing, three players in New Jersey won on the spin, one for $2 million dollars.
That ticket was sold in a convenience store in Middlesex County.
Specifically, the person purchased the ticket at QuickChek on Ernstron Road in Sayreville, the New Jersey Lottery said Tuesday. The player matched five numbers.
Additional, two players matched four numbers plus the Powerball in Bergen County to get the sum of $50,000 each. Tickets were purchased at the Garden State Dairy on Oakland Street in Closter; and at Ridgefield Park Liquor & Deli, on Teaneck Road in Ridgefield Park.
In Texas, a person got $1 million on a ticket in which he matched five numbers. The Quick Pick ticket was sold at the Elam Food Mart on 12300 Elam Road in Balch Springs, outside of Dallas.
In New York, three winners were reported who matched four of the numbers and the Powerball.
One of the tickets is a Powerplay valued at $207,000. It was purchased at a Stop & Shop location on West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays.
The other lucky winners won $50 ,000 each. One of the tickets was purchased at the Mobil Mart on Rockaway Avenue, Brooklyn; and the second at J & Hee Deli and Grocery on Port Washington Boulevard, Port Washington.
The winning numbers for Monday’s drawing were: 11, 16, 18, 30 Y 37. The Powerball turned out to be the 16 with a Power Play of 3x.
The amount for tonight’s Powerball drawing was an estimated $365 million with a cash option of $207.5 million.
The draws of this game of random are held on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays at 10: 59 pm EDT.
